This privacy policy outlines the data handling practices for the CallBot 2 iOS application ("the App").

No Personal Information is Collected

We believe in privacy first. CallBot 2 is designed to function without collecting any of your personal information.

  • We do not collect personal information. You can use the App without creating an account or providing any personal data.
  • We do not use advertising identifiers. The App does not include any third-party advertising or tracking frameworks.
  • We do not use analytics. The App does not contain any analytics SDKs to track your behavior.
  • We do not track you. The App does not engage in cross-app tracking.

How Searches Work

When you perform a phone number lookup, the number is sent to our backend service to query our data provider. Our server logs may temporarily store basic, non-personally-identifiable technical information for operational and security purposes. These logs are not used to identify you and are not linked to an in-app identity.

Purchases and Credits

Search credits are tied to a random identifier that the app generates on your device. It is not derived from your name, Apple ID, phone number, or any hardware identifier. When you buy credits, that identifier and the App Store purchase are processed by RevenueCat, our in-app purchase provider, and our server stores your credit balance against it. If you restore purchases on a new iPhone signed into the same Apple Account, our server uses the App Store purchase history that RevenueCat reports to move your remaining credits from the old identifier to the new one, and keeps a record of that transfer. This information is used only to deliver and move the credits you bought; it is not linked to the phone numbers you look up. If you contact support from the app, the email it prepares includes this identifier and the app version so we can find your balance.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell or rent your data to any third parties. Since we do not collect personal information, there is nothing to sell.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page.
